Llama Stories
The Scale
1-Not that much of an annoyance, just irritationg via the messages.
2-A few stupid and irritating acts such as blocking a RS door or trying to kill their own teammates every-once-in-a-while. Excessive messages can apply here too.
3-Team Killing on a regular basis. A person who you would strangle if you met them on the streets.
4-Massive team killing and individual stalking. The llama searches for a certain player just to torment them. They block the respawn doors with a detpack or pipebombs or pull a grenade pin at the begining of an AHL match. Almost unbearably annyoying.
5-I don't think a person this annoying exists. The only difference between a 5 and a 4 is the persistance and actions. A 5 point llama would do everything from flooding the messages to Individual TKing--on a regular every-other-second basis.
-The NormalSim12 dictionary defines a llama as this: A person who plays an internet game just for the sake of making people mad. A llama often floods the message area with binded phrases like "mess with the best, die like the rest!" and so fourth. A llama often claims they are the best player in the world, will go out of their way to kill a teammate, will annoy people to the point where they leave the game, and just try to make an online gaming experience a living hell. Here are some pictures and stories of llamaish activity...

I was playing on some server today, I forget the name again, but I saw the most TKing I had ever seen in my life. It was Action Half-Life Teamplay and at the beginning of each round about 2 team kills would take place. THis wasn't just one person, but half the server. I don't understand how one server could gather this many TKers. That was really my only complaint, but team killing is a serious offense, and this server let it go unpunished.

I have been playing Half-Life and Its modifications for about half a year now, and am pretty good. I don't hang out at any particular server, so I get to see new people every time I play the game. In these 6 months, I consider myself lucky to never encounter any llamas, except for today. I was playing at some random Action Half-Life server and noticed that there were three guys in the same clan there. lets see, there was 2of12[BORG], 8of12[BORG], and 9of12[BORG]. They were about average players, but horrible sports. When they would kill anyone in a firefight, they would flood the message "looks like you missed again!", or something along those lines. Each one of these [BORG] people had the same binds, so no matter which one you killed, the same message would pop up. If you killed one of them, they would say "lucky shot". This wasn't just a random occurace either, anytime they were engaged with the enemy and lost they would say this. I'd say the worst one there was the 8of12[BORG]. He did this stuff the most. Another few binds they flooded were "That looked like it hurt" and "ouch". THese were, of course, used when they killed you. They finally left after calling a few people some inappropiate names, and thankfully, this is a minor llama case.

Llama Rating: 1 :they weren't too annoying and didn't physically ruin the game. But, dumb messages can tend to be annyoing.
